Children Book Publishers

Question by narnialuver: Would a publisher look at a book like this?
So I am hoping to start writing my first novel and hopefully publish. I just have a question. My novel would be similar to Narnia, magical world that children have to save. The children enter that world differently and the plot is entirely different. Would I still be able to publish even with the whole magical world, children becoming warriors (by the way, the children don’t become kings or queens at the end, just to let you know.)

I was hoping to publish at Harper Collins some day.
One of them is like that but trust me, it isn’t just good V.S. evil.

I think it’s too similar. You should try to change things like the children get stuck in a book and must embark on a journey to get out.
