I would love to write children’s books and maybe get some of my poems published. I entered an online poetry contest and got scammed. How do you find a publisher? How do you know if the publisher is legit? Where can I send my work too? Please Help!

Go to your local library and talk to the librarian there. Librarians usually have knowledge of good publishers, and which books have accurate lists.
