I self published my daughter’s fantastic book called “Silly Sentences ABC” it is a wonderful educational book for early readers. I also have a more advanced book (fun poetry) that she created and that won Grand Prize for the first Mid-Columbia Reading Foundation author/illustrator contest. I need an agent so we can go the limit with these fine reads! My daughter (author name is Sunshine) wrote and illustrated these books and she has a few more at home and a plethora more of ideas. I do not throw anything away! I was going to self-publish one of my books but when I saw her ABC book, I was enthralled. I never tire of looking at it and it’s had nothing but positive reviews. We are going to a writer’s conference in October and I’ve submitted her book to a couple different agencies- but got rejection letters- they didn’t do that kind of children’s book. What can I say? It’s that unique!

Look for a publishing house that does children’s books and submit to them. It is not uncommon to get lots of rejects, so keep doing it!
Also, have you thought about sending it to Oprah?
