Question by Annanelle Young: will a book company publish my children’s book if I already illustrated it?
I wrote a children’s book and my sister illustrated it for me, are there any book companies that would consider publishing a children’s book thats already been illustrated?

Possibly but it’s usually very difficult to get a publisher’s attention without an agent. They may also want you to go with a different and more professional drawings, or may want to edit the hell out of your story – plus you don’t have anyone really to advocate or keep your interests in mind so you’re open to be screwed over. You’re trying to break into one of the most difficult areas of literature. Once you hook an agent, things should go smoothly.
