What is the quickest way to publish a children’s book?

I figured the easiest way to get off the ground as a writer would be to put out a children’s book – and I’ve had the idea for forever. Anyone know what’s the fastest way? I’m supposed to be getting a job soon. I’m a teen, so maybe there’s a special site?…
oh wow. that’s kind of a downer. I’m going to delete this question and crawl away with my tail between my legs.
just kidding. thanks for all the advice and especially the honesty.

Hello, Sir
There are several ways to publish a children’s book from publishing, to binding and such. The name of the private publisher I frequently use can be contacted at blink_art_92@hotmail.com
There is never a “fast and easy” way to be published respectably. If you want publishing you’re going to have to work hard and earn your place, not expect it to be handed to you. The best way to get off the ground as a writer is to write, write, and write some more. You can consider self-publishing but it rarely holds the same weight as traditional publishing.
If you’re only looking for fast and easy I don’t think you’re ready for publishing just yet.
I really hate to be the barer of bad news, but KK nailed it. There is no quick way. Sure, there’s always self-publishing but it’s unlikely that would get you anywhere and you’d need deep pockets.
Add to that, the category you have suggested is absolutely the most difficult one for an unknown writer: children’s books. Other than those authors who are already well ensconced, it seems every other celeb and sports figure are publishing them. An unpublished writer has about as much chance getting their foot in that door as i do of making it in the WWA.
**Lemonry, you got that part right, it can be a downer. The good news, somebody ALWAYS breaks through against the odds. Could be you someday.
You’re mistaken. Getting a children’s book published is one of the hardest ways to get into professional writing. Far more people are trying to do it than available publishing slots exist.
It’s best to have a self-publisher when you want to publish immediately. You don’t have to go through the hassle of having your manuscript edited and approved. In self-publishing, you have full-control of your story.
There are different schools of thoughts when it comes to self-publishing. It sure is not an easy journey but look at the following self-published books that made it to NY Bestseller list:
”Life 101” (Prelude Press), a self-published book by John Roger and Peter McWilliams
”What Color Is Your Parachute?” by Richard N. Bolles, a guide for job seekers
”Leadership Secrets of Attila the Hun” by Wess Roberts
”The Book of Questions” by Gregory Stock
”The One Minute Manager” by Kenneth Blanchard and Spencer Johnson, was self-published before the authors sold it to William Morrow & Company
This is a very short list. Add John Grisham. He was a self-published book author before a traditional house picked him.
The biggest challenge in self-publishing is how you market your book well. But hey, even JK Rowling promotes her own books.
