Find A Book Publisher
How do I find a book publisher for a manuscript that is already prepared?
You can sign up with www.writersmarket.com and use their database of publishers. You can search by type of manuscript (fiction, juvenile, humor, etc.) and whether they accept unagented manuscripts. There’s also a lot of information that you would need before signing a contract. I believe there is also a list of agents you could check out.
The same information is available in book form, but the online database is much easier to search. And they cost about the same.
