i have written a travel article and want to get it published is there a free directory i can use?
I am trying to locate a list of publishers who may be interested in my articles. i do not want to sign up with an agency but would like a list of addresses i can send my article to

Yes – you can go to the Directory of Article Directories (see link below) and submit to the free directories listed there.
Since your article is about travel, be sure to submit to the two “niche” section directories that are dedicated to that specific theme.
Then submit to at least a few of the ‘multiple category’ article sites in the sections most relevant to that same genre. ie. EzineArticles is one of the high Google PR ranked directories there, but submit to others too.
