Children’s Publishing Companies
Have you written and or published a children’s book?
I have an idea for a children’s book and was looking to see if anyone had any advice or experience in the business. I’m looking for a little guidance. Also, what do you think about self-publishing companies? I found one in my area that lets you guide every step of the way.
There are different schools of thoughts about self-publishing. In my opinion, it is a writer’s wise strategy to get his or her book published immediately and according to his or her liking.
In self-publishing publishing, the bottom line lies on the quality of the story and how the book is promoted – just like those books that are traditionally published. Promotion always plays a big role in a book’s success – whether it’s for children, young adults or for all ages.
I’m a writer by profession but I haven’t tried publishing yet. But here’s an article I stumbled upon that says what you need to do when you want to get published. I find it very helpful.

Dedicate time for writing
Design effectively
Designate a professional editor
Deal with a professional publisher
Distribute the book effectively
