Best Children’s Book Publishers
Reading stories to young children and is a great way to engage with them while they are learning. If you incorporate sign language when reading stories, children learn words faster and more easily understood. A great book I suggest reading to their children or students is Hello, Sun by Dayle Ann Dodds. This book in particular is a great way to help teach children to learn about different types of clothing and climate. Some signs that suggest use when reading this story are: Sun-Make a circle with your index finger in the air above his head and open your fingers to form bright rays. Clouds Circle of hands on each other, which Wind palms facing AE "hands Sways back and forth a lot of pieces of clothing and climate are mentioned throughout this book. When the story begins, a girl wears a warm, sunny day. Each page of the changes of time and has to change clothes to be better dressed for the weather. Some of weather alerts covered in the book are the clouds, wind and snow. Children will learn about different types of weather and how to dress for each type. The repetition and rhythm in the book keep children involved in addition to seeing the various signs. For example, during each change of time, the child says in the story because aEoeuh-ohaE she has to change his clothes. Babies love to say this, and often is one of his first words when they start talking. Therefore, in addition to signing in history, your child will also love the repetition of this on every page.
